A Beginning

Well here it is. I’ve thought about it, talked about it, played with wordpress for hours and generally procrastinated for too long. Here’s my first post. It’s not glamorous, and it’s going to be short and sweet. I’m not going to edit or filter or re-write it 27 times. I’m not going to make promises, wax poetic or unpack my philosophy about life. Not yet. I just want to write. And I need to start now.

The default post after installing wordpress (so your blog isn’t empty) is fittingly titled “Hello World!” While I wanted to be rid of that generic, impersonal post, that’s essentially what I’m saying.

A few weeks ago I came across this quote:

“If you stop and do nothing until you can do everything, you will be useless.” – Spurgeon

So there you have it. All my ducks are NOT lined up. I haven’t dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s because then I’d never start.
